TwinCAT 3 training

The “TwinCAT 3 training” puts the handling, programming and diagnostic possibilities of the TwinCAT system of Beckhoff in the focus. It will be dealt with addressing all axes of the PLC and the communication possibilities of TwinCAT 3. The training is directed to PLC programmers, who like to switch to the TwinCAT system, but know terms like variable declaration, variable class and structure.

• System architecture: structure and diagnostics
• Basics of IEC 61131-3 programming
• Hardware configuration
• Basics of axis commissioning and Motion Control blocks
• Communication interface and high-level language link

Prior knowledge:

• Assured skills in PLC programming
• No prior knowledge of TwinCAT 2
